What is your favorite part of serving on the school board?

Do you have a favorite quote or personal motto?

“The greatest among you is the servant of all.” -Jesus Christ “Do your work heartily as unto the Lord”.

What inspired you to join the school board?

I want to give back and serve the wonderful public schools that have provided such a great educational
experience for my children and grandchildren, as well as where my bride taught for 20 years and daughter currently teaches now.

What do you hope to accomplish during your term?

I hope to help preserve and enrich public education by finding a reliable source of funding to enable achievement of its mission.

I want to build transparent and effective communications between all stakeholders that enable our system to exceed expectations

What’s a fun fact about you?

I love capturing life’s memories with photography and traveling the wild unknown with my bride of 46 years, Barbara! I am blessed beyond measure with an amazing family, and I am so proud and privileged to do life with them. Thanks Live Oak Schools for helping me raise them.
