Library Classes for May 12 - 16, 2008

 

Announcements: 

 

The library is now closed for students.  Please make sure your child has returned all library books.   I will send notices home for any overdue library books on Wednesday, May 14^th.

I will also begin checking in textbooks this week.  Notices for overdue textbooks will be sent home Thursday, May 15^th.

 

Congratulations to all the students who earned their required AR points for the 4^th nine weeks.  They were invited to an ice cream party last Wednesday afternoon.   We had lots of  chocolate smiling faces!

 

Please encourage your child to read this summer and complete their Summer Reading Pledge Sheet (it’s purple) they were given during their last library class.  They may return these at the beginning of the 2008/09 school year.

To check the AR list, you may go to www.lpsb.org .  Under Quick Links, go to AR Book Find.  Simply type in your book title to see if there is a test currently available!
