The Seventh Ward Elementary Science Club is an honor club for fourth and fifth graders. Students must have an A/B average in 5th grade and an A average in 4th grade to be a member of the club. The mission of the club is to excel in science and mathematics and to help others succeed in these subjects. We meet once a month where we do hands-on activities and discuss current space explorations and discoveries. Club invitations will be sent home after the 1st report card.
The sponsors of this club are 5th grade teacher, Mrs. McElroy, and 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Jackson.
The 4-H Club is a club devoted to community service and education. Fourth and fifth graders at Seventh Ward Elementary are eligible to be in the club. Members chose projects which teach them about responsibility, problem solving, and communication skills. A few areas of 4-H study are outdoor skills, foods and nutrition, animal care, plants, bicycles, computers, and sewing.
The club sponsors are Mrs. Wascom and Ms. Skelton.
The Beta Club is a service organization. Students for 5th grade are selected by the 1st nine weeks grades. Students earning an A/B Honor Roll the first 9 weeks will receive an invitation to join the Seventh Ward Junior Beta Club. Please encourage your students to strive for this worthwhile club.
